Xianhu Laboratory Sincerely Invites Overseas Talents
Foshan Xianhu Laboratory is a provincial laboratory in Guangdong Province, focusing on the research,development and industrialization of key materials and core technologies in the fields of hydrogen energy and hydrogen-ammonia fusion new energy. The laboratory is equipped with seven support platforms and nine research centers that underpin fundamental and frontier original research and core technology development. It has a research team led by academicians and supported by national high-end talents and has established a Guangdong Provincial Academician Workstation and a Postdoctoral Research Workstation.
The laboratory has successfully produced the world's first zero-carbon ammonia-fueled ceramic tile on a pilot-scale facility. The laboratory further led the development of this technology and pioneeringly put into operation the world's first production line, demonstrating mass production of ceramic slabs/tiles by ammonia-hydrogen zero-carbon combustion technology. It has also developed Chinese first intelligent Thermal-Electric dual power system of low carbon for long-distance heavy-duty vehicle and successfully ignited the country's first liquid ammonia direct-injection ammonia-hydrogen combined zero-carbon internal combustion engine. Moreover, the laboratory has solved the world-class challenge of producing large-area perovskite batteries for photovoltaic hydrogen production by developing a efficient printing method. Relative original research achievements have been published in the world's top academic journal Science.

1. Leading Scientists
Support Provided:
· Upon successful employment, the laboratory can assist talents in applying for national and Guangdong provincial research funding and personal subsidies; assist in applying for a maximum of 6 million yuan in settlement and home purchase subsidies provided by Foshan City; provide a total annual salary of no less than 1.3 million yuan, in addition to providing temporary housing and assistance with children's school enrollment.
· The laboratory provides corresponding policy support, and the treatment for high-level talents can be negotiated and determined on a "one-person, one-discussion" basis according to actual circumstances.
Qualifications Required:
· Generally should hold a Ph.D. degree.
· Not yet arrived in China or will arrive after January 1, 2024.
· Age range: 40-75 years old, with exceptions for exceptional candidates.
· Have overseas work experience and meet one of the following conditions:
· Department heads such as Technical Director, R&D Director, Chief Scientist at the global headquarters of Fortune Global 500 companies.
· Associate Professor or equivalent positions at renowned foreign universities (ranked in the top 150 in the Academic Ranking of World Universities or Global Top Universities rankings), scientific research institutions, or international academic organizations.
· Principal responsible persons or senior researchers at national research institutes or laboratories.
· Principal responsible persons or chief scientists for scientific and technological project achievements in various countries.
2. Young Leading Scientists
Support Provided:
· Upon successful employment, the laboratory can assist talents in applying for national and Guangdong provincial research funding and personal subsidies; assist in applying for a maximum of 4 million yuan in settlement and home purchase subsidies provided by Foshan City; provide a total annual salary of no less than 1.08 million yuan, in addition to providing temporary housing and assistance with children's school enrollment.
· The laboratory provides corresponding policy support, and the treatment for high-level talents can be negotiated and determined on a "one-person, one-discussion" basis according to actual circumstances.
Qualifications Required:
· Hold a Ph.D. degree (domestic or foreign).
· Not yet arrived in China or will arrive after January 1, 2024.
· Age limit: no more than 40 years old. Candidates over 40 can consider applying for innovative talent positions.
· Have 36 months of overseas work experience, holding formal teaching and research positions (including postdoctoral positions) at renowned foreign universities or research institutions, or relevant positions in internationally renowned enterprises or financial institutions.
